Today is the day! The ABC Quiet Book tutorials have begun. But I thought you might want to have a small preview of the finished product.
I will warn you. I gave the finished product to my daughter. We looked all through it. And then I made the mistake of asking her if she liked it.
She said no.
Oh two year-olds.
Anyway, without further stalling…

These are some of my favorite pages. Love love love. Seriously.
Anyway, stay tuned every weekday until Sept. 23 for a new tutorial! I guarantee you’ll have lots of fun!You can also click on the button above to get a full list of the tutorials that have been posted so far.
Oh and one other thing…I’m auditioning for Crafting With the Stars! Why yes, I am crazy. Why do you ask?

I'm also linking up this project here:

There's nothing quite like a 2 year old for bringing you back to ground with a thud is there!?
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great and I'm sure it will grow on her- well done!
Good luck with your Crafting With the Stars audition! :) I love your quiet book... particularly that jellyfish detail. Little girls say the funniest things sometimes. I'm sure she will grow to love it.

The ABC book looks wonderful, can't wait to see the complete book!
ReplyDeleteI dare not ask my two year old's yes or no questions, to many times I don't get the answer I was hoping for!
Stopping by from TT&J! Your quiet book is really cute. I love all the little details you put into it. I need to make one for my kiddos and this is a great example!
ReplyDeleteI would be quiet in church if I had a book like that! Come see a morning sickness pill!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is so DARN cute!! what a gorgeous creation (2 year olds are adorable, but they're not very generous). You did well!
ReplyDeleteU have inspired me to try this for my nephew

Such a great idea to do a tutorial! I made a quiet book for my daughter this summer for her 2nd birthday. It was the hardest, most time consuming project I've ever done, but every time she pulls that book out, I feel so good! I hope it holds up well enough to be passed down to other generations!
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to the post about it if you would like to take a peek!

This is so cute! I really want to make a quiet book for my niece as her "new big sister needs to keep busy book" because my sister will be having her second baby soon and I thought it would be a good nursing time distraction for big sister. Thanks for the great tips and ideas!
