With distinguishing ingredients and the beautiful taste of chocolate chips, a choco chip cookie would taste better with a glass of milk. The recipe of cookie now has many versions with innovation in ingredients and tastes, but original one always win the hearts at first.
Ingredients (prep will take about 20 minutes)
- 2 cup of Butter Flavored Crisco
- 2 cups of Brown Sugar
- 2 cups of Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 4 ½ cups of All Purposed Flour
- 2 tablespoons of Baking Soda
- 2 tablespoons of Salt
- 2 tablespoon of Vanilla
- Chocolate Chips
Cooking (cooking will take about 10 minutes)
Step 1 – making the cookie batter: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. While the oven is preheated, mix 2 cups of butter flavored Crisco, 2 cups of brown sugar, 2 cups of sugar and combine all ingredients together. Beat in the eggs one at a time and continue blending until you have a consistent mixture. Take out another bowl, put 4 ½ cups of all purposed flour (you should sieve the flour before blend it in the mixture), 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of vanilla into the bowl and blend them. After that, add the flour mixture into the sugar mixture. Blend every things well. When the mixture is well mixed, add chocolate chips and give the mixture few stir.
Step 2 – baking the cookies: Spoon the batter onto a greased pan with your desired size and shape. Bake the cookies for about 9 to 10 minutes. Take them out and let them chill. Preserve them in airtight containers.
