Ok so by now you know that I've been slowly decorating my house. I first shared my hallway here and then my fabulous (or at least to me :) ) master bedroom. But I never feel that any room is really completely ever done. I always like adding little touches that give the room a little oomph. A lamp here, a picture there. Or by jazzing up the wall switches and outlets. Seriously! I mean, I'm sure you've seen tutorials of people mod podging their own, but there is an even easier way.
Renu by Leviton has a collection of switches, wall plates, and dimmers in 20 different designer colors. They were even featured on the DIY Network! I had lots of fun looking through collection and thinking of all the possibilities. I mean wouldn't their Onyx Black go perfectly with my bedroom:
See that light switch by the door? It's just begging to be updated to match the rest of the room. Onyx Black would seriously look great, or if I was really wanting to jazz things up I could go with Red Delicious. :)
